CJ’s instincts are adventurous, but his father has drummed caution and steadiness into him. About to be persuaded into an arrangement he doesn’t want, a casual encounter one night opens his eyes to less confining possibilities than running a company and entering a boring marriage.
Life is full of crossroads. Have you not ever wondered what course yours would have taken should you have made a different decision at some critical point? Should you have joined the army? Should you rather have married the other person? Perhaps you should have stayed single, or become an accountant or a pilot, or joined the merchant navy. All those choices were in front of you at one time, what would your life have been like if you’d taken a different path?
This thriller is filled with suspense and adventure. It explores what would have happened to CJ had he made the other choice that night. In two minds, he divides: C errs on the side of caution and the possibility of becoming rich, while J seeks adventure. The book contains two parallel stories, one for each persona, C and J, but the other characters – his friends and enemies remain the same in both tales. The differences lie in the responses they give and the actions they take in relation to the separate characters of C and J.
A complication in CJ’s life is a bully from school who’s intent on revenge for the three years CJ caused him to spend in prison. But to the ex-con, CJ is one person. How do C and J, as separate people with different approaches to life, deal with the threats they must face? C has to handle his at home, while J first meets his on his travels in Bolivia and Peru. How does it turn out for these two men? Are there full circles in there somewhere?
For characters, there’s CJ himself (or is that themselves?), there’s Martin his nerdy friend, Barry Castle the bully, Gudrun (who’s not to be messed with!) and tearful Lisa (oh gawd!). CJ was published on the 1st December 2017. It’s been professionally edited, proofread and has a dramatic cover.

An exciting new Author has burst onto the scene! I have just read his second book simply titled “CJ”. This well written story explores a path I have not seen before in books I have read. As we move through our lives we are faced with life changing decisions and having chosen a path, we are left wondering what our lives would have been like if we had chosen the other route. Well CA Sole shows us what could happen when the road forks and a certain path is chosen.

Interesting concept thriller – the question we all ask at some stage of our lives – “What If…?” The plot follows CJ as the ‘what if’ in his life follows two different paths exploring each life, had a different path been taken …. VERY exciting, heart thumpingly addictive reading….. right to the nail biting cliff hanger end… when the hero dies….. OR DOES HE? I nearly dropped a star because nothing else got done while I read this book! Five star reading!

A jam-packed enjoyable read.
Two parallel stories exploring one life and how different the outcome can be depending on which path is chosen.
The book is fast paced, with lots going on and some very interesting characters.
Quite fun to see how the two stories overlap in parts despite being quite different and how the protagonist’s decisions impact the lives of those close to him.

Another riveting thriller by this author. Fascinating and exciting -following the story of one person and what would have happened in his life if he had chosen a different path – one side erring on caution the other following adventure…. but even the cautious character seems to attract adventure! Well written and engaging – drawing one in and creating a reluctance to put the book down before the finding out what happens to the hero(s)…..
